Returns and Exchange Policy
If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please contact our customer service department at email@example.com within 30 days of receipt for a Return Authorization. Returns will be refunded to the credit card account charged, less any shipping fees and restocking fees if applicable.
- Returns/Exchanges will not be accepted without prior authorization.
- Returns/Exchanges will not be accepted after 30 days of original receipt.
- All Returns/Exchanges must be in original packaging and in unused/re-sellable condition.
- Items must be shipped back to Oceans East in packaging that ensures the item will not be damaged in transit.
- All returns must be insured and postage prepaid.
- If an item does not meet the criteria above, a return may be denied, or be subject to a restocking fee.
Once a Return Authorization has been accepted, ship the product to our address below. Products returned without a Return Authorization will not be accepted.

All clearance/sale item sales are final. We will not accept returns for any items bought on clearance.
Custom and Special Products
- Customized items may not be accepted for return, depending on the customization. If accepted for return, there will be a restocking fee on these items. These include, but are not limited to, custom made rods, rigged lures, spooled reels and special order reels in uncommon colors.
- Some items (such as gyro binoculars and electronics) and special/rush orders are subject to a restocking fee, or may not be eligible for return due to the nature of the item.
There may be a restocking fee of up to 25% applied to a return depending on the condition of the item returned or for a special order/customized product. See our policy above to determine whether a restocking fee will apply to your return, or contact our customer service department.
Oceans East Gift Cards are not eligible for return or refundable for cash except in states where required by law. If you decide to return merchandise that you purchased using your Oceans East Gift Card, the refunded amount will be credited directly back to your Oceans East Gift Card. Please do not throw away your Oceans East plastic Gift Card unless you are sure of your purchase.
If a product is damaged during shipping, Oceans East will send a replacement. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with details of the damage to request a replacement. Please take pictures or refuse the shipment if possible. Under no circumstances are we liable for any loss, damage, or expenses of any kind arising out of the use or inability to use these products. If a product breaks during use and is under warranty please contact the manufacturer for replacement.
